#28/4/04:The dark clouds that had roamed over my head yesterday has finally cleared today! Partly because today is a short day for me..no cca..hehe...during chemistry practical, we are suppose to carry out a few experiments involving enthalpy change...and there's one design experiement meant to test the planning and analytical skills of our young minds. I decided to start the practical with the design experiment. After much thinking i came up with a
formidable procedure as my solution to the question only to realise that i had once again, ignored the instructions, rendering my formidable solution useless..what the ^*@(#&$^(*..had to redo and rethink...luckily the experiment wasn't tough and i still managed to finish it within the time given...*smiles*
Had planned with my bf a few days ago to go Johor today..and we did! Whee...we went to Johor at around 2pm+ and headed for the money changer. After changing some singapore $ for malaysian ringitt (exchange rate: S$100 for RM224), we headed straight for the shopping centre near the causeway. At the entrance of the shopping centre, we bought the already extinct(in singapore i mean)

MacDonald...gosh..been a long time since i indulged in milkshakes!
Next, we headed for our favourite hunt in Johor -
robins. It is sorts of a fastfood restuarant on Level 2 that sells its famous
portuguese chicken and
portuguese egg tart for RM9.20 and RM1.50...below is a picture of the chicken...(guaranteed to make your mouth waters and make ur salivary amylase, for once, feel like working).
A feast for the eye isin't it? Haha..well as you can see from the pic, the skin of the half chicken is "roasted" to a golden-brownish colour and has an exotic taste that leaves u yearning for more and the brownish sauce is the key player in the dish...its simply delicious. As for the side dish,u can choose between spaghetti or rice but i would recommand spaghetti. After a satisfying lunch, my boyfriend and i walked around the shopping centre..bought some cds (Big Fish and 13 going on 30).
Its been a great day for me..*smiles*
