><))o> Good teachers vs bad teachers
#Have you ever met good teachers that are so dedicated and encouraging that you in turn get motivated to study? (Well at least for that teacher's sake?) Then have you ever met bad teachers that make you loathe the subject that he/she teaching just because he or she is teaching that subject? Unforunately...i met some very bad and incompetent teachers that made me hate cetain subjects. But forunately for me, about 90% of the teachers who have taught me are very nice and passionate people. Unforunately, during this prelim, two of my scripts are marked by two teachers one of which i totally loathe and the other, suffering from a disgusting case of imcompetency!
#My GP paper 1, which was essay, was marked by Ms THC (i shall be nice and just put her initials)!! This is one woman that i really hate and the hatred started from J1 when she was my PDG tutor....she always look like she has some attitude problem and she is always quick to refute any constructive ideas the student suggest during GP which often makes us feel that she is not very receptive of ideas and fiercely guarding her own beliefs. As i've said...my miserable script was marked by her and it seemed like 70% of my point sounded silly or illogical to her...thereby i failed with a pathetic score of 20/50. I wouldn't deny that my language ability was atrocious but i think i would have fared better if my script was marked by someone else or if i have just chosen another question to do in the first place...
#Maths - I failed my paper 2 with a score of 38.5/100, something which i was already expecting. However, when i checked through the papers, i made a shocking discovery - my last question was not marked! Oh my Gawd!!! (yes...omg!) And the teacher who marked that question was actually a sotong math teacher whom i have no idea how on earth he earned his First Class Honours. So much for that....my papers was sent in for marking and i managed to earn a few more marks to allow me to improve a grade higher...=)
#Overall...i did pretty ok...except for bio (which i have yet to get back my papers), i fared pretty well for chem and maths (dont talk about GP man...)...i actually exceeded my own expectation....this is especially so for chemistry...so...i'm happy=) But this is no time to be complacent...i'm now motivated to sprint for my last leg of race!
