><))o> O level results fresh from the oven (MOE i mean)
#Woah...the staffroom and office are in a total craze today due to the release of O level results....there were excited chatter, screams of joy and astonishment everywhere! Ok...so how did CSS fare?!? WE HAVE IMPROVED!!! Yeah!!! It was quite a good improvement for many subjects...take for example geography ( i was sitting in the Humans dept side), there were no failures (the teacher was overjoyed i tell ya...)...the worse was a C6 and there were only 3 C6s....as for maths, there were also improvement...likely to meet target this year! Overall, we did well lah...well enough to retain our atonomous status which was threatened by the slipping results over the years...heng ah!! And i heard that there were alot of 7, 8 9 pointers coming from the middle classes which mean overall, the L1R5 MSG must have improved!! Yeah!! I'm so happy...seeing all the elated faces in the staffroom makes me realised that if one really put their heart and soul into teaching, the reward is far greater than all the frustrations - its priceless. Hence, the joy of teaching!
#To all those who are dying to see CSS ripped of her atonomous status (specifically those choir rivals from a very eastern school)...my message to you guys is WAIT LONG LONG!! Muhahaha...
#Wanted to kapo and join in the bustle at the hall today during the release of results but i was tied down by Maths group study....turns out that for a particular class, quite a few of the girls were not there because they had stayed in the hall for the major affair...some of the girls even revealed to me that they wished they could be in the hall to see some sec5 shuai ges...aiyo...the innocence of the young minds!
#This whole day has been quite an exciting one....but all the activites going on just keep reminding me, isabel and qin yuan that in a week's or even less than a week's time, the staffroom at aj will be filled with the exact kind of atmosphere, anticipation, joy perhaps? I hope so...AHHHH! So scarey to even think about As!
#On a brighter note, due to the improvement in results this year, CSS might have half day...yeah! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! *prays*
